Brunnera (Bugloss)

Zone 3-9  This is one of my personal favorite perennials to combine with Hosta.  Forget me knot upright clusters of blooms from spring to early summer. Hear shaped leaves just continue to grow all season long.  Makes a great specimen plant or compliment to Hosta in any shade or Part-shade garden.  They can take moist soil conditions to a dry shady spot.  Best in Part shade.

Echinacea (Cone flower)

Zone 3-9  Due to customer request we decided to add Cone flowers to the list for mail order shipping too!   Another great perennials for dry sunny locations requiring little or no upkeep.  Keep in mind they really do not like to be watered much.  Once planted once a week if no rain is more than plenty.  They come in a variety of bloom colours and heights.  Best in full sun.  Most bloom July until October.  Great for cut flowers.

Irresistable Cone Flower 'Irresistible' One of the most unique pom-pom type Echinacea so far!  With colors like rainbow sherbet, these fragrant, 3.5 blossoms first emerge pastel yellow with a large copper cone, then quickly develop into double, coral pink flowers with a slightly deeper pink pom-pom on top.  As the flowers mature, the center of the pom-pom gradually lightens to citron yellow and the ray petals lighten to peachy pink.  It’s a kaleidoscope of delicious colors that are sure to add a unique element to fresh flower bouquets. Zone 4-9  I just adore the foliage of this plant and the blooms to me are a bonus.  All will grow in part shade and then watch as some can tolerate full-sun as others full shade.  In the early spring just make sure you take a walk around your garden and if they are raised out of the garden soil - push them back down.

‘Purple Palace’  Back by popular demand.  This one is one of the most popular Coral Bells on the market. Being named Perennial of the Year in 1991, one can see why. With its unique deep purple foliage, fading to bronzy green in hot summers and its dark red stems, makes it a little different than the rest. In the springtime, small pinkish and white flowers appear that last into the summer, however, Coral Bells are not known for their flowers, but their foliage. White blooms Ht:  25cm(10”)  $5.95

Pulmonaria (Lungwort)
Zone 4-9 Very popular Part shade plant.  This fussy leafed plant is usually blooming long before the Hosta are even up which makes them a great addition to any garden for early spring bloom and foliage.  The foliage can be spotted and admired for it's large amounts of bloom in the spring.  For best results trim blooms back hard once they are done flowering.  They also like good air circulation. 

angustifolia  'Blue Ensign'   Just as the name applies large blue blooms.  Nice compact plant.

Siberian Iris

Zone 3-9  This is another one of those perennials that are under used and undervalued.  They produce strong grass like foliage that looks good all year and blooms are often described as elegant.  Many colors to choose from and combine well with daylilies and ornamental grasses.  Prefer full sun but will tolerate part sun (min. 6 hours).
