Eutrochium dubium ‘Baby Joe’ is a more compact cultivar than the species, typically growing in a clump to 2-3’ tall and to 1-2’ wide. The unique characteristics of ‘Baby Joe’ are as follows; upright and relatively compact plant habit, moderately vigorous growth habit, freely flowering habit, large grayed purple-colored inflorescent and strong and upright peduncles. Does not re-seed. Very easy care as it works in average soil to wet. Great for a rain garden or beside a pond as well. Tolerant of most soil types other than sand. Showy purple blooms are fragrant too. Zone 3
