Blue-eyed Grass

Native Sisyrinchium augustifolium Lucerne and very limited amounts of montanum are available for 2026. They both have grass-like leaves and small, but numerous, purple blooms with yellow centers. Easy to grow and looks great when planted along a border or in mass. A unique member of the iris family and isn’t a grass. Just remember where they are planted so you do not pull them out in error. Zone 3
Attracts bees, butterflies and even songbirds will eat the seeds
Full to part Sun and Drought-tolerant but will thrive in all soils
