Astrantia m. Vanilla Gorilla

It was a new introduction for us to carry last season/2024 and was in limited quantities. We often bring in these newer varieties, and they are not listed on the website. Therefore, they are a nice surprise for those who stop in early and often. Well, they are back, and now we are showing you all ahead of opening weekend. I would honestly say it’s one of our favorite new additions. It is one of our pricier plants, but so worth it!
Stunning variegated foliage of ivory and green with contrasting pink clusters of blooms. Flowers are cupped with star-shaped bracts that remain attractive even after blooms are spent.  Leaves are serrated deeply lobed blue-green.  Astrantia makes great cut flowers and a great backdrop for your east gardens and combines well with Hosta.  Zone 5
