Native also known as Symphyotichum cordifolium or heart-leafed aster. Note this variety reseeds. Attractive heart-shaped leaves with light airy clusters of light purple daisy-like blooms are abundant in the fall when not much else is in bloom. It is another great pollinator and makes a great cut flower. Also tolerates being planted near Walnut trees. Zone 3
